The World of Givenchy Perfume -- Classic Designer Quality in a Bottle!

I may not own any Givenchy clothing, shoes or handbags -- but what I do have is a few bottles of Givenchy perfume. Givenchy's fragrances give all women the opportunity to own a part of their favorite designer without going into debt. Givenchy perfume is more than just a fancy label, however. The scents they offer are all fine quality fragrances suitable anyone seeking a perfume with depth and class. If you're new to the world of Givenchy perfume, take a look at the fragrances I've profiled below. They represent my favorite offerings from this respected design house.

My favorite Givenchy perfume would have to be Organza. This is a fragrance that works on me, my mother, and my grandmother -- so classic and perfect that it's great for any generation. Floral notes like honeysuckle, gardenia, tuberose, peony and ylang-ylang blend with cedar, amber, nutmeg and vanilla to create a fragrance that's warm, spicy, and undeniably female.

For something a little more adventurous, there's Givenchy Hot Couture. This Givenchy perfume contains notes like raspberry and pepper -- not necessarily what you'd think of when you think designer perfume. But it works -- Hot Couture is spicy, sexy, and warm, with a fruity tone that adds a youthful exuberance.

If you like light, summery fragrances, then take a whiff of Givenchy My Couture. This fresh blend of white florals is lightly touched with sweet almond. To me, My Couture is reminscent of walking through a fresh floral meadow at dawn. For people who don't like perfume, this offering from Givenchy would change their mind!

A classic Givenchy perfume that's been enjoyed by women for decades is Ysatis. This sophisticated, floral Oriental is warm, rich and complex, with sensual florals and a smoky undertone. I personally wouldn't wear Ysatis during the day -- to me, it's more of a black dress and pearls type of fragrance.
